Glacien

Long ago Memora was a landscape fraught with the raging giants of creation. It was during this Age of Myth that the Glacien were born. As old as the oceans and as chilling as the highest peaks, the Glacien are beings of living ice. These elemental beings are tough, weathered, and indomitable. Each of them, even the youngest, carry themselves with the weight and authority of the ages. The Glacien can recall a Memora trembling under the cataclysmic forces of creation. They were witness to the giants of old and the raging battles of the Leviathans. Though they are mighty, this perspective reminds them of how small the races of Memora truly are. Their objective and reflective countenance brought both detachment and honor to the conflict of Memora. The Glacien warred with and against these colossal forces during the Age of Myth.
These lessons have remained with the Glacien. This has left these children of Grimfrost with an icy demeanor. These proud people were torn apart by a civil war with their cousins the Ignus. To prevent continued losses on both sides, the Glacien retreated into the elemental fabric of Grimfrost to be forgotten, until now. The Glacien now return from their frozen slumber as they are stirred by the land and hear the chilling summons of Grimfrost. They awaken to find Memora changed, their mighty legacies forgotten, and the giants of old now mere marks on the landscape. They must remind Memora that it was forged by the mighty hands of incredible forces. If that is the case, then the Glaciem shall be those hands.
